People often use drugs to escape the stresses of everyday living. It is routine for many people to use caffeine and alcohol without stopping to consider the short term or long term effects.Suddenly these routines, that may have seemed harmless when they began, have become addictions.

It seems that there is a lot of research done on the effects of drugs, but how valid is this research? Who is the author and how are these studies being done? It is easy to research the ecstasy drug, and find the dealer viewpoint and the user's viewpoint, but how easy is it to find accurate information about the long term effects of drugs?
