Montage 1"The Lady's Fancy! How about it folks."

"Alright, so far you've seen all the Ladies categories, all the Ladies dances, now as always Ladies first, now we go into the Men's categories dances and at this time I'd like to call up the Grass Dancers. Now this dance was practiced by many of the plains tribes."

 



Grass Dance"The early explorers when they came they would say that they would see plains as a sea of they would call it a sea of grass now the grass would grow very high so what they did was when they did was when they want to do ceremonies or have a dance or something they'd send in these boys to stamp down all the grass and ah they use yarn and wool in imitation of the grass - now let's see how these gentlemen do it."

"OK, let's have the Grass dance... drum please."



Men's Traditional Dance"How about it folks.. the Grass Dance!"

"OK, now we're going into the Men's Traditional and remember I had told you that when the men would go out into their exploits they would come back and tell the stories, OK this is what now we call it the men's Traditional is a very popular dance and let's watch how these guys do it... drum please."
