Task
Using pages from Shaun Tan’s “The Arrival” grade 9 students collaboratively created compelling narratives to accompany the spectacular images in the book. These pieces were powerfully melded together in order to create digital stories. Students thoughtfully wove elements of Canada’s Immigration history into their stories. The end results were touching tributes to the challenges and obstacles faced by many immigrants, past and present.
