Cathy Davidson


Dr. Cathy Davidson is the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Ruth F. Devarney Professor of English at Duke University. Her main interests lie in the theory of technology and the history of new technologies and society. Dr. Davidson believes our present age presents us with unique challenges and requires a new approach to learning and a re-design of the classroom and the workplace. We also need to rethink how we live, work and learn to meet the exciting opportunities of the information age.
