Task
In this collaboratively designed task, grade 6 students were invited to mirror the work of scientists. The task was intentionally scaffolded to include a variety of engaging investigations that helped students to deepen their understanding of the concepts and principles related to “Flight” and “Air and Aerodynamics”. At the heart of their work, students became engineers who applied and tested new understandings to their designs and prototypes. Through thoughtful documentation, students were able to demonstrate significant growth and a deeper understanding of these topics.
